On May 23, a workshop on Erasmus+ KU-LSUS-LPNU, dedicated to the summing up of the implementation of the international mobility project with Kingston University within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, was held in Lviv Polytechnic. The project was initiated by the academics of the Institute of Economics and Management and the Institute of Engineering Mechanics and Transport, and was subsequently joined by representatives of other institutions.
Nataliia Chukhrai, the Vice Rector for Scientific Research of Lviv Polytechnic and Oleh Davydchak, the Vice-Rector on Scientific and Pedagogical work, participated in the workshop. During their speeches they emphasized the importance of developing international academic cooperation and disseminating the best educational practices.
Among the guests from Kingston University there was Ian Roberts, the Head of Kingston Business, Andy Augousti, representative of the Faculty of Engineering and students from Business School and the Faculty of Engineering, who will do their internship at our enterprises.
Ihor Oleksiv, the Project Manager from Lviv Polytechnic, summed up the successful implementation of the project: more than 25 academics of Lviv Polytechnic National University, representatives of IEMT, IEM, IBEE, ICSIT, IARCH and ICCT, had the opportunity to teach for a week at Kingston University. In addition, academics of Kingston University came here to teach at Lviv Polytechnic (at IEMT, IEM, ICSIT and IBEE), which promoted to establish good scientific relations with University representatives. As a result of the mobility project implementation, 10 students of Lviv Polytechnic (from IEM, IEMT and IBEE) had an opportunity to study at Kingston University.
