The seminar will be held online on the Zoom platform from 3:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. (Kyiv time) on April 30, 2024. The working language is Ukrainian.
This event is the first in a series of six online seminars of the Open4UA project, which will take place every six months and is intended to be a platform for forming a nationwide network of experts and enthusiasts of open science and promoting progress in this direction. Seminars are an important channel for disseminating project results and receiving feedback from the Ukrainian academic community and other stakeholders for the joint vision formation of the open science development in Ukraine.
During the first seminar, the Open4UA team will present recommendations on reforms in the sphere of Ukrainian science and education, developed by the project consortium based on the study of EU best practices. Also, within the seminar, we will discuss the new method of certification of scientific institutions and institutions of higher education in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities, recently proposed for public discussion by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Open4UA team participated in the development of the methodology and wants to promote its effective discussion in the widest possible academic circles.
The seminar will be held online on the Zoom platform. Representatives of the Ukrainian academic community, state authorities, local self-government and all interested parties are invited to participate in the event (registration required). A live broadcast of the seminar will also be on Facebook page of the event.
