The University Professor receives an award from the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for science popularization

On April 3, 2024, at its regular meeting the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine awarded the NAS of Ukraine prizes for Popularization of Science based on the results of the competition in 2023.

The best popularizers of science in Ukraine received awards in the following nominations:

  • The best popular science publication (series of publications) about scientific developments and achievements, problems of the science development and (or) publication of periodical print/electronic mass media about science (magazines, newspapers, Internet sites registered as mass media, scientific columns of mass media).
  • The best program about science (radio and (or) television projects that were broadcast on radio, TV channels and (or) Internet), popular science film.
  • The best scientific and educational project of the year (museum, exhibition, festival projects, lectures, science cafes, special (thematic) online projects, projects in social networks, podcasts, projects of bloggers, projects of other formats that attract the general public (adults, children and schoolchildren, students) to the science achievements via public events).

In addition, the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine decided to award other competition participants of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for Popularization of Science.

In particular, the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine awarded Nazar Podolchak, Doctor of Economic, Head of the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, the Institute of Public Administration, Governance and Professional Development, Director of the Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University, for the Techlabinno mobile laboratory for students of 5th -11th grades.
