The University organizes «Future with Polytechnic» – Olympiads by subject for students of 10th – 11th grades

Lviv Polytechnic National University organizes «Future with Polytechnic» – Olympiads by subject for students of 10th – 11th grades.

Participation in the Olympiad allows you to check the level of your knowledge and the ability to apply it to solve various non-standard problems, learn more about Lviv Polytechnic and the majors that can be obtained in our University. Also, participation in the Olympiad will contribute to objective argumentation in the entrant’s motivational letter, in which it is necessary to reflect interest in studying at the University, as well as achievements in studies and other types of activities.

The Olympiad takes place in two rounds:

• 1st round (correspondence) – January – February 2024;
• 2nd round (full-time) – March–April 2024.

General rules of the 1st round

1. Students of the 10th and 11th grades can take part in the Olympiad.
2. The test tasks were developed by the faculty of Lviv Polytechnic on the basis of the school curriculum.
3. Olympiad tasks are presented in the form of tests of various formats with the selection/completion of one correct answer, the fulfillment of which is to last for 50–60 minutes (depending on the subject). The maximum number of points for performing subject tests is 100.
4. The schedule of the 1st round of the Olympiad is in the file attached.
5. The ranking lists with the participants of the 2nd round will be published on the information page of the Olympiad within three working days after the specific Olympiad.
6. Invitations to the 2nd round will be sent to the personal email address of the winners.
7. The schedule of the 2nd round of the Olympiad will be posted on the information page of the Olympiad additionally.

Awards

1. Each Olympiad participant, regardless of the achieved result, will receive an electronic certificate.
2. Every participant of the 2nd round of the Olympiad, regardless of the achieved result, will receive an electronic diploma.
3. The winners of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas and prizes.

Participant registration

1. To participate in the Olympiad, a participant needs to register on the page of the Lviv Polytechnic Center for Testing and Diagnostics of Knowledge.
2. Each participant registers independently.
3. Registration gives the opportunity to participate, if desired, in all relevant Olympiads.
4. Registration begins on January 16 and lasts until February 10, 2024.
