In Lviv, a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war makes three-wheeled electric scooters that can be ridden by people with disabilities who move on wheelchairs. Pavlo Pika decided to create such a vehicle for his friends, who after being wounded in the war can no longer walk, but are forced to move in a wheelchair. The desire to help and realize his idea was so strong that Pavlo found a team, support and funds.
Pavlo Pika came up with idea to create a three-wheeled electric scooter after returning from the front line. The scooter was named Sinoris, which means chariot in Greek. And it really looks similar.
This scooter is electric and travels 80 km on a single charge. The battery can be both replaced and charged. In addition, all spare parts are high quality and affordable so that future drivers do not have problems with repair or replacement. And this is not all the benefits of this miracle transport.
All parts for scooters are made in the workshop. It only takes the developers five days to assemble one tricycle. Yurii Lekhminko, who is in charge of welding, and Viktor Fridrikh, a design engineer, also work in the team together with Pavlo.
The guys are working under the auspices of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
– The guys studied here, they learned the basics of business. That was a kind of adaptation. They came to us with this idea, we helped to realize it. It was implemented within the framework of the innovation project of the Lviv Regional Council. We submitted a project for implementation together with the guys – and we were chosen. This grant was more than a million hryvnias, – said Nazar Podolchak, CEO at Tech Startup School, Lviv Polytechnic.
A three-wheeled electric scooter from Lviv developers will cost up to 80,000 hryvnias. For example, abroad the prices for similar vehicles start from 100 thousand hryvnias. The guys are currently working on five scooters for ATO participants and are ready to cooperate.
