The CIG R&D LAB educational scholarship program tells about the Diode Tech team from Lviv Polytechnic National University. Their development is an interactive billboard that provides remote control and allows you to instantly publish ads online from a mobile phone via messengers or e-mail.

They came up with the idea a long time ago, as they noticed that the process of publishing content using alternative LED displays is not fast enough. All the participants are from Lviv, they have known each other for a long time, so there were no problems with forming the team.

The team is carefully researching the advertising business and says that dynamic and high-quality LED screens, which would be durable and easy to operate, are in demand. That is why the guys are currently focusing on the quality of purchased modules and panels, improving their photo and video editing skills.

Previously we have already told about their successes and first commissions. However, the guys do not stop and aim to further improve their product. There are also plans to expand the team and clearly divide the technical responsibilities and development of the startup’s business model.

Of course, the war made its adjustments to the usual mode of operation. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the guys have been trying to be active and helpful.

The leader of the team – Nazar – joined the ranks of territorial defense forces and is still in the service. Nazar is actively involved in setting up checkpoints and equipping bunkers.

Artem is in the ranks of the IT troops of Ukraine, conducting regular raids on enemy sites and blocking false information. Artem also helps by sorting food, medicine and clothes to be delivered to the hot spots of our country, arranges places for people in need of protection, and supports them in every possible way.

Bohdan, for his part, weaves camouflage nets and arranges checkpoints.

In addition, part of the scholarship under the CIG R&D LAB program the boys donated to sew bulletproof vests for the Ukrainian military.

Today, team members face many challenges, but they do not stop and advise everyone who wants to develop their startup:

«Find like-minded people who are focused on results. Then the team will be friendly, strong and productive».
