Staying safe online or what Cyber Hygiene is: Lviv Polytechnic participated in a pilot project on Cybersecurity

Recently the pilot project «Fundamentals of Cyber Hygiene» has been successfully completed at Lviv Polytechnic. Interactive online course «Basic Security Rules in the Digital Environment» was developed by CRDF Global, in collaboration with EY Cybesecurity experts group in Ukraine and Technomatix technical experts. The partners of the project for Cybersecurity development in Ukraine were: Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kyiv State University of Infrastructure and Technology, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Vinnytsia National Technical University.

Knowledge gained during the course allows you to protect yourself against cybercrime in everyday life. You can use this certificate in your own portfolio. Course structure: 10 interactive modules, photo and video materials. Each lesson focuses on a specific topic. The themes of the training material range from the safe use of mobile devices, e-mails and social network security to the basic rules of information protection and fake news. All participants, who received certificates, have the opportunity to compete for prizes: special sponsorship badges and flash drives with passwords from the CRDF Global fund. The main winners will be chosen after passing the control test. In fact, our modern society can hardly be imagined without information technology.
