The performances of the institutions has finished at the festival "Spring Polytechnic". There is still the most important thing – the final and the announcement of winners. The "Spring" was completed by three institutions: ICTA, IARCH, IJPS.
The city of the faded hopes of rebellious spring
This time, the students of the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology have rebelled. They presented to the audience a performance "Revolt." The idea and scenario – by Nazar Pytlyuk.
Every person is a part of the great idea. But the fact is that these ideas are different and not always good but often destructive. The ruin is building a system. And sooner or later there will be the one who dares to destroy the system and reset masks that conceal reality ....
The show begins with the screen shots that are broken in the most unexpected moment by the main character, who considers himself the founder of the city - it was the one his face (empty and cold). Everybody must obey to the Jonathan's word. His regime is a fire, from which everything started and everything will end. At the head of this regime, which kills the world, are three more who actually dare to start a riot, to free of townspeople faces from masks that conceal the unique, to open a humanity in people. But there was a lot of smoke already, so, there will be also fire. Jonathan responses with cruelty and merciless, he destroys the rebels. Only the last remains who is luring people to his side, tearing the masks from the faces. Jonathan has no chance. But there is an unexpected denouement – the rebels kill both of them, as there has to be no regime and all those who created this system are people of regime ...
The intense plot of a hour performance. The expression is added to it by the light effects, smoke, sound of guitar and synthesizer. "Revolt" makes us think of when and what for a rebel is appropriate. And it leaves the viewer with a lot of questions.
"Masterpiece" from the architects.
To see "Masterpiece" - that is the reason why the audience came to the performance of the most creative Polytechnic Institute - IARCH on May 18.
This time they have prepared for the viewers a mysterious story, with elements of fantasy, about an outstanding artist who promises an eternal life to people, making them eternal in his paintings.
There was present an eternal feeling - love. The main character, fascinated by the genius of art and intrigued by his works, opened the great secret of special creativity. Finally, it became clear that this artist was only the girl's imagination. In reality she was the one who painted everybody eternal. So the end was totally unexpected and with very pleasant surprise for the jury – the opening of their portraits in the style of classic images.
To sustain the intrigue - this was probably the main "trick" of the architects, besides always original and well thought-out design of a stage (which is truly amazing every year!). This performance was not an exceptional: in the middle of the performance a huge artist's studio appeared out of the wings. And the performance of the actors amazes with its ease, naturalness and richness of improvisation, which eventually becomes a good addition. The play of the second plan actors is also special, which by the way creates the appropriate ambiance and mood.
The students IARCH have been remaining for many years the favorites for the viewers. This year they once again have proved that they are worthy to be the contenders for victory.
IJPS gives love in spring.
On the Embroidered Shirt Day at the "Spring of Polytechnic" the Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology encroached on the eternal theme of love. So many things on this theme has been said and written, but love is a feeling that never leaves a man alone.
The lawyers, psychologists and journalists with the joint efforts came to this topic in somewhat different way. On the basis of melodramatic story they put the fate of a girl. With the words "I'm just a woman ..." at the same time begin three very different love stories.
Victoria and Ostap cannot dare to confess in love, and so by all possible means they to try to tease each other. The second pair, a family already, at that time was experiencing a period of crisis in their relationships. And the last story is about a lucky girl who meet with Cupid. These three stories intersect only with a bright red line of love.
The dancing and wonderful Ukrainian songs added romantics. The students reminded everyone once again that events may develop by the laws of the genre, and also contrary to the sober judgment, so you should be ready for anything.
"Women are unpredictable," - said the protagonists at the end of the performance. Thus, the third heroine was crazy about Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, but instead she received Cupid. He gave love not only to the partners on stage but also to all present in the hall, throwing there the imaginary arrows of love with the accompaniment of song "You know we are burnt by fire " performed by Alexandra Koval.
