On October 11, 2024, the Department of Administrative and Information Law, the Institute of Law, Psychology and Innovative Education (ILPIE), Lviv Polytechnic, held the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference on Administrative Law and Process: Modernity and Development Prospects in a mixed format.
Professor Volodymyr Ortynskyy, Director of the ILPIE, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, addressed the participants of the scientific meeting with a welcome speech.
Professor Mariia Blikhar, Doctor of Law, Head of the Department of Administrative and Information Law, also delivered a welcome speech.
The plenary session of the conference was surprisingly informative and interesting, given the relevance and importance of the conference topic, especially in the context of the current challenges faced by those states seeking to integrate into the European space. The leading scholars from all over Ukraine and colleagues from foreign higher education and research institutions took part in the conference.
In general, the conference participants touched upon many important and complex issues. In particular, they discussed the challenges faced by administrative law in the current environment and suggested ways of its further development. The scholars also emphasized the importance of continuous improvement of legal institutions and procedures to ensure effective public administration and proper protection of citizens’ rights.
