On March 25, the House of Lords of the United Kingdom hosted a meeting and presentation on the developments of Smart City – Blueprint for Smart Cities.

In accordance with the signed memorandum between the World Smart Cities Forum (WSCF) and the SID City Scientific Park of Lviv Polytechnic, joint developments for Ukrainian cities were presented.

Dr Alan Flowers, Creative Spark project coordinator, and Vasyl Novak, entrepreneur, presented the team of the University Tech StartUp School, commenting:

«During the report presentation, Mr. Peter Chun, WSCF President, spoke about his activities in Ukraine and cooperation on the Smart Cities project with Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv City Council and Lviv Regional State Administration, which are also WSCF partners. At the meeting there was discussed the methodology of creating smart cities in Ukraine, which is based on the cooperation of stakeholders – institutions of higher education, business, government and society, which must work together to create one ecosystem.

It is unfortunate that the war in Ukraine prevented the representatives of Tech StartUp School together with its director Nazar Podolchak from attending this event».

We express our sincere gratitude to our partners for the opportunity to develop Smart Cities in Ukraine. Special thanks to Mr. Peter Chun for organizing the forum, Dr Alan Flowers and Vasyl Novak for presenting our work and the opportunity to present Lviv as a leading European city.
