On 15 May 2025, within the framework of long-term cooperation, the management of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom met with the management and students of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Lviv Polytechnic was represented by Acting Rector Yurii Bobalo, Vice-Rector for Education and Social Development Roman Korzh, Director of the Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems Andrii Maliar, as well as the faculty of the Department of Heat Engineering, Thermal and Nuclear Power Plants and students.
At the meeting, they discussed the prospects of introducing a dual form of education, as well as the benefits of studying under trilateral agreements between the university, student and company. This format of cooperation not only simplifies the process of internships at Energoatom’s enterprises, but also creates conditions for further employment. Another motivation for students is the possibility to receive an additional scholarship from Energoatom for high academic performance.
In the second part of the event, representatives of Energoatom had a lively conversation with students of Lviv Polytechnic. The young people were actively interested in employment opportunities, career growth, the terms of trilateral agreements, as well as the availability of job offers at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
Representatives of Energoatom expressed their readiness for further cooperation with Lviv Polytechnic and stressed the importance of joint projects aimed at the professional development of future energy specialists.
