Now it is important that the Constitution is not just a declarative document, but acts. Each of us has to remember, we have rights and responsibilities.

Dear Polytechnicians!

Life and security, honour and human dignity are the greatest values in our state. And this is not just declared, but guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine.

Three centuries ago - from 1710 - our people had the most progressive documents of that time - "Pacts and Constitutions of Rights and Freedoms of the Zaporizhian Army" by Pylyp Orlyk. After that, for hundreds of years, Ukrainians fought for the right to have their own law that would guarantee freedom to every citizen.

Now it is important that the Constitution is not just a declarative document, but acts. Each of us has to remember, we have rights and responsibilities.

Today we must realize how important it is to follow the law. Each of us can affect the rule of law to become the defining principle of development and an indicator of a mature society.

I wish you feel your rights, guaranteed by the Constitution, are protected, and be proud to be a Ukrainian. Wish you unity, harmony and peace.

Congratulations on the Constitution Day!
