Greetings from the Rector of Lviv Polytechnic on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year

Rector of Lviv Polytechnic

Dear Polytechnic community!

Difficult times give birth to strong people and create lots of new opportunities to look at familiar things in a new way and understand what a real value and a priority is.

Today, the enemy again attacked Ukraine with missiles. It happens every day. However, despite the anxiety and constant tension, we continue to study and work, dream and strive for more.

Dear freshmen, regardless of the fact that due to the aggression of the enemy we cannot all meet together at First Year Student Convocation, which for centuries has been one of the most significant events in the life of Polytechnicians, I believe that You will always remember this day when you step on a new path of your life. Get the most out of life, set big goals and don’t be afraid of challenges, and may difficulties never stop you.

Welcome to Lviv Polytechnic! Let our University become a place of your growth! Learn, be inquisitive, stubborn and demanding – do not stop at what you have achieved, but strive for more, every day become better than you were yesterday, and we – everyone who works for you – will make every effort so that you get the best education and be able to realize yourself confidently in the chosen profession!

Difficult times give birth to strong people... You have a great mission – to work hard to defeat the bitter enemy and develop Ukraine, which will occupy a worthy place on the world stage. I am sure that you will succeed!
