Polytechnicians have won 14 research projects, which will be financed by the MES of Ukraine from the state budget

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has approved a list of basic, applied research and scientific and technical (experimental) developments of Lviv Polytechnic National University for 2022, which will be financed from the state budget. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has also determined the list of projects of scientific works of young scientists of our University, which have passed the competitive selection and will receive funding from January 2022 from the state budget of Ukraine.

– The total amount of funding for research and development of Lviv Polytechnicians this year under KPKV 2201040 is 29,175,840.0 hryvnias. According to the decision of the Ministry, 14 more projects of the University’s scientists received support from the state budget, – explained Ivan Demydov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research.

The competition commission selected the following research projects:

  • «Synthesis and research of crystalline nanostructured materials as an innovative technological product» – Anatolii Andrushchak;
  • «Polymer / inorganic supramolecular structures of highly branched star-shaped macromolecules for biomedicine, catalysis and energy» – Oleksandr Zaichenko;
  • «Development of advanced technologies for the creation of fast-curing multifunctional nano-engineered cementitious composites with high performance properties» – Myroslav Sanytskyi;
  • «Fundamentals of technologies of biocompatible thermoplastic composites with adjustable biodegradability and products from them» – Volodymyr Skorokhoda;
  • «Development of highly efficient hierarchically structured catalysts for the production of acrylate monomers» – Volodymyr Ivasiv;
  • «Development of a crypto-protected system of high-speed data transmission in the UHF and microwave bands with increased noise immunity and fault tolerance» – Yurii Bobalo;
  • «Experimental mobile robotic platform with intelligent control system and data protection» – Vasyl Tesliuk;
  • «Technology of adsorption treatment of wastewater from contaminants using magnetically sensitive biocarbon adsorbents synthesized from organic waste» – Myroslav Maliovanyi;
  • «Methods and means of analysis of military data based on deep learning technologies and ontological approach» – Roman Peleshchak;
  • «Development, research and implementation of pseudo-random sequence generators for use in the military and civilian spheres» – Volodymyr Maksymovych;
  • «Development of scientific bases for the creation of multifunctional oxide ceramic materials and coatings» – Zoia Duriahina.
  • Also the state funding will be received by the following scientific works of Lviv Polytechnic young scientists:
  • «Development of innovative methods and models for building industry-oriented information and communication systems for the modernization of digital industrial infrastructures» – Halyna Beshlei;
  • «Optimized nanocomposites and sensor structures for defense security control systems and threat detection» – Halyna Klym;
  • «Advanced oxidation processes, in particular nanocatalytic, based on cavitation technologies for purification of aqueous media from resistant N-substituted organic compounds» – Yurii Sukhatskyi.
