This year the first student ideation, organized by IT Office of Lviv City Council with the support of Taskombank, Edunav, Softserve and Delonghi, has come to an end. The teams presented their projects at IT office of SoftServe to the jury, whose members were Oleh Denys (vice president at SoftServe), Dmytro Ivanov (SVP of Technology, SoftServe), Ivan Babichuk (Supervisory Board Chairman of the Lviv IT Cluster, EduNav), Valerii Danylenko (Deputy Chairman of the Board of Taskombank), Ivan Petrenko (Executive Director of the UCU Center for Entrepreneurship) and Oleh Zasadnyi (Lviv Tech City).
– 18 teams applied, but we could accept only 11. Most attention was paid to the motivation of students. We are very glad that besides Lviv Polytechnic National University, other education institutions joined the ideation. It proves that our ideation is becoming more and more popular, said Marta Romaniak, Head of Information Technology Office.
In the final the first place won team Team_d, which includes students of the Internet of Things program in Lviv Polytechnic: Andrii Stashkiv, Teodor Serhiichuk, Nikita Kiseliov, Sofiia Prychko and Mykola Kaminovskyi. They developed a platform that makes it easy to rent premises for the event from the list of schools, art schools and other utilities.
The winning team received a cash prize – 10,000 UAH from Taskombank.
This is already the third ideation organized by IT Office of Lviv City Council. The teams of the Internet of Things program in Lviv Polytechnic won all three ideations.
