The Łukasiewicz Research Network is one of the largest research networks in Europe, comprising 22 institutes, with a workforce of 4,500 scientists and engineers. The network carries out research and construction works in many fields: logistics, aviation technologies, microelectronics, transport, construction, energy, polymer technology, etc.
The Department of Chemical Technology of Plastics Processing, Lviv Polytechnic National University, together with the Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes and the Łukasiewicz Research Network in Poland has prepared an agreement, the purpose of which is to establish and develop various forms of cooperation in the field of scientific research, development and their commercialization.
According to the concluded agreement, potential cooperation, exchange of experience and establishment of joint activities at the international level between Lviv Polytechnic and Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes can be carried out in various forms, in particular through:
- exchange of scientific and technical personnel, and academic internships for employees, students and doctoral students;
- exchange of information and experience;
- organization of joint conferences, seminars and symposiums;
- implementation of joint projects;
- popularization of science and knowledge about new technologies through joint scientific publications, as well as publications and broadcasts in the press, on radio, television and on the Internet;
- initiation and strengthening of cooperation between the scientific community and the economic environment.
Thanks to the opportunities included in the agreement, scientific research and other forms of cooperation in the field of creation and research of new polymer materials will be fruitful and effective.
