It’s cool when students are united not only by studies, classes and exams, but also by creativity, when their own initiative becomes an impetus for creating something special – new emotions, music, atmospheric moments. The events like these make student life brighter, more exciting, full of opportunities and true unity.
The Acoustic Evening, organised by students Yuliia Herasymyshyn, Head of the Students’ Union, the IEM, and Vasylyna Chorna, Head of the Students’ Cultural Union, was an example of how student enthusiasm can create real magic.
Yuliia Herasymyshyn shared her impressions of the evening and ideas for its future prospects:
– Acoustic Evening is an initiative of IEM students, which arose from the desire to create a warm atmosphere for informal communication, songs and inspiration. We wanted to unite people who love music, regardless of major or year of study.
We had both experienced musicians and those who performed for the first time. Everything was live: playing the guitars, the pianos, and singing. People shared their own songs and covers, and it was intimate and very emotional evening.
Next time, we want to attract more participants from different Institutes so that the Acoustic Evening becomes an integral part of student life, leaving fond memories and a desire to create. The event was aimed at raising funds to repair a vehicle used by the pilots of the 57th Brigade’s UAVs. This vehicle would help them perform important tasks at the front, and its serviceability is not only a matter of mobility, but also of safety and efficiency of our defenders.
I am glad that lots of people joined in: some sang or read, listened or donated, and some came just to support us. Every hryvnia, every word of support is another step towards victory.
