The Australian Academy of Science, in partnership with the Breakthrough Prize Foundation, is implementing the next round of a program to support Ukrainian researchers affected by the war with Russia. The aid includes two directions, each of which contributes to the provision of practical support that will enable Ukrainian scientists to continue their research and technology activities.
1. Support for short-term visits to Australia to participate in project studies, conferences and visiting programs to research institutions
Visits to engage in research projects are expected to be for a period of four to 12 weeks in duration and can be for one person only. Visits to attend a conference should include a site visit program of one to three weeks in length, to engage in research or training related activities relevant to the visiting researchers and can be for one or more people.

2. Providing Ukrainian scientists with access to Australia’s leading infrastructure capabilities
