According to him, the relevant decision will be made taking into account the martial law declared in Ukraine and the psychological state of schoolchildren and students. The Minister also said that the decision was carefully worked out in cooperation with the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Science and Innovation, MES and other experts.

«To date, the bill has been submitted. It abolishes the state final attestation for 11 grade students, cancels external examinations, admission to the master’s degree programs based on the results of the Unified Entrance Exam, and the Unified Professional Entrance Examination», said Serhii Shkarlet.

At the same time, he stressed that this year, to enter a university a mechanism like the External Evaluation will be provided. It will use computer testing.

«Applicants will not take part in any corruption schemes, and we will try to organize everything with no stress for children, and without the external independent evaluation mechanism», said the Minister.

A legislative decision of the Verkhovna Rada is required to implement this scheme on the end of the academic year and to conduct the admission campaign. According to the Minister of Education and Science, such a decision may be made in the near future.
