More than thirty tree saplings were planted near the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and the St. George’s Cathedral.
This action was initiated by the abbot of the St. George’s Cathedral, Father Mitrate Roman Kravchyk. The event is timed to the Year of His Beatitude Liubomyr Huzar and the approaching Easter holidays. In addition, new green areas will contribute to the improvement of ecology.
The community of Lviv Polytechnic: rector Yuriy Bobalo together with Vice-Rectors, Directors of Institutes and University students joined the initiative. As a result, 32 commemorative trees were planted, which would decorate the space between the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies and the St. George’s Cathedral.
