It brought together about 300 participants – heads of leading banks, financial institutions, experts, representatives of regulatory bodies, international financial institutions and the academic community. This year’s conference became a large-scale platform for discussing key challenges and prospects for the financial system of Ukraine in the context of a war economy and integration into the EU market.

The conference was dedicated to modern trends in the development of the financial system of Ukraine, in particular, issues of digitalization, the introduction of artificial intelligence into financial services, attracting international capital, as well as the role of banks in ensuring the stability of the economy in the context of war challenges.

Among the speakers of the event there were Andrii Pyshny, Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine; Serhii Chernenko, Chairman of the Board of FUIB; Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Oschadbank; Nataliia Hurina, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank; Ekateryna Hovina, Co-founder of AMLYZE; Nazar Kupybida, CFO of OKKO, Volodymyr Ponomariov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ukrgasbank, Olena Voloshyna, Head of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Representative Office in Ukraine, and other well-known experts in the financial industry.

The discussions covered such topics as macroeconomic stability, new models of corporate lending, the future of private banking, prospects for integration with the European financial space, and the application of the latest technologies in the banking sector.

The conference also served as a platform for constructive networking, bringing together representatives from business, the public sector, academia, and universities to collaboratively develop solutions and forge partnerships.

At the conference, Lviv Polytechnic was represented by Andriana Mazur, Head of the Lviv Polytechnic Development Center, Associate Professor at the Department of Finance, the Institute of Economics and Management, and Nataliia Syniutka, Associate Professor at the same Department.
