This is actually an opportunity to take a practical course after lectures on microprocessor and embedded systems. They are given to students majoring in Computer Engineering and the Internet of Things. Therefore, the KeepCalm & Build DRONES volunteer community and the Kazuar initiative group eagerly responded to the proposal of Roman Kochan, head of the Department of Specialized Computer Systems, and teach our students how to build drones.
In one lesson lasting five hours, you can learn how to assemble a drone and make one yourself. Of course, after a lot of training, you’ll be able to do it much faster. For comparison, experienced professionals assemble the same drone in 40 minutes.
To get to the practical drone assembly classes, the students had to complete the UAV Engineer. Basic Course and the Engineering Course People’s FPV at Prometheus and receive the relevant certificates of completion.
The drones that have been tested will be handed over to the 80th separate air assault brigade and the 125th separate territorial defence brigade.
