According to the letter of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (hereinafter – NRFU) dated 02.08.2023 No. 2–7/331, the leadership of Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, informs that on July 18, 2023, NRFU and the Dutch Research Council (hereinafter – NWO) concluded protocol to the Memorandum of Understanding and agreed on cooperation and joint efforts.
The aim of the partnership initiative is to stimulate the online participation of qualified researchers from Ukraine in ongoing NWO projects and to expand their professional network in the Dutch research community. In particular, scientists in Ukraine will have the opportunity to cooperate with scientists from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and thus continue their scientific careers in difficult conditions by taking part in the competition «Competitive selection for additional NWO grant opportunities for Ukrainian scientists: NWO- NRFU Partnership Initiative» in 2023.
The NWO project team can provide consulting and information support. Applications are submitted exclusively by the Dutch project manager through the ISAAC online application system only and must reach NWO at least two months before the planned start of the Ukraine’s participation in the current NWO-funded research project.
