Lviv Polytechnic Project Office informs the researchers of the University that a call for the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) programme funded by the European Union is open.
The aim of the COST programme is to provide networking opportunities for researchers and innovators to strengthen Europe's capacity to address scientific, technological and societal challenges. There are three strategic priorities:
- promoting and disseminating best practices
- fostering interdisciplinary research to advance science;
- expanding opportunities to encourage young researchers.
The competition supports the following scientific fields:
- biomedicine and molecular biosciences;
- chemistry, molecular sciences and technologies;
- Earth system and environmental protection;
- food and agriculture;
- forestry, its products and services;
- individual, society, culture and health;
- information and communication technologies;
- materials, physics and nanosciences;
- transport and urban planning;
- interdisciplinary research/projects.
All applications must be submitted through the e-COST online application tool. Applicants can submit their proposals in English by October 23, 2024 (12:00 CEST). The duration of the project is 4 years.
The total amount is €575,000.
