As it has recently been reported, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced a public discussion for the state investment project «Construction of building No. 39 of the SID City education science and innovation park, Lviv Polytechnic National University, on 2 Akademika Kolessy Street in Lviv».
It is planned to create the Global Eastern Europe Innovation Center here. Its concept is to combine opportunities for creating innovative, scientific and business projects.
The new building on 2 Akademika Kolessy Street is designed to have 5 floors. There will be classrooms and a student hostel.
Biolabs, catering establishments, a conference hall and office premises are planned to be located on the ground floor. On the first floor – classrooms, publishing house, hotel and children’s area. Classrooms, offices and a gym will be on the second floor.
On the third floor there will be classrooms and a student hostel. Classrooms and vertical gardens – on the fourth floor. Also in the center there will be a parking lot for 77 places.
The center will be created on the basis of the Business Innovation Center Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University, which was launched in 2017. The creation of such a center, according to the Ministry, will allow attracting highly qualified specialists and scientists in the field of innovation.
