2023 has been declared the European Year of Skills. The aim is to emphasize the importance of continuous improvement of new skills and abilities, as this ensures the support of innovation and sustainable development. In addition, continuous learning is a necessary element of Europe’s transition to the new digital economy.
The European Year of Skills is implemented by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Parliament, EU member states, social partners, employment services, chambers of commerce, educational institutions and companies.
This is a unique opportunity to develop the necessary skills and abilities required by the labour market, as well as to popularize Lviv Polytechnic National University in the European Union.
Svitlana Hladun, head of the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations, Lviv Polytechnic, carries out the general coordination of the project.
