During July-August 2025, a series of workshops organized by Lvivvodokanal together with the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, Lviv Regional Council, and other partners took place in the premises of the City Museum dedicated to the creation of the Water Vision for Lviv 2100 with the participation of various specialists related to this topic. The Department of Urban Planning and Design, Lviv Polytechnic, also joined the meeting. In particular, the Head of the Department Yulia Idak, Associate Professor Yaryna Onufriv and Assistant Liliia Liudkevych took part in a series of meetings in the block «How to return water to the spatial planning of Lviv», and master’s student Liudmila Tretinko joined the group working on the topic «Decentralized sewerage system». As a result, the current situation with water resources and facilities in Lviv was analyzed, and accordingly, a vision until 2100 was formed and realistic goals until 2050 were defined. These joint discussions and developments within the framework of the development of the Water Vision for Lviv 2100 will be continued at the Department of Urban Planning and Design in master’s theses and further scientific research.
