For many years Lviv Polytechnic National University has been an active member of the Baltic University Programme (BUP) – one of the largest university networks that brings together 118 higher education institutions from the Baltic Sea Region and beyond. This programme is aimed at sustainable development, cooperation between universities and the dissemination of innovative ideas in education and research.
In 2024, Lviv Polytechnic took part in the competition and won the status of BUP National Coordinator in Ukraine. This remarkable achievement underlines the importance of our contribution to the programme development and opens up new opportunities for international cooperation.
Zoriana Dvulit, Doctor of Economics, Professor at the Department of Foreign Trade and Customs, the Institute of Economics and Management, has been appointed as a Head of the BUP National Centre in Ukraine. Lidiia Oryshchyn-Buzhdyhan, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Psychology, the Institute of Law, Psychology and Innovative Education, has been appointed as a Deputy Head, and Mariana Priadka, a specialist at the Centre for International Education, has been appointed as an Administrative and Communications Officer.
The team of the National Centre will coordinate BUP activities in Ukraine, organise national meetings, support universities participating in the programme and develop new projects.
