Lviv Polytechnic and the National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute» are starting strategic cooperation. The parties signed a memorandum that provides for joint scientific research, educational initiatives and the development of innovations.
Before signing the document, they explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation, focusing on experience exchange in technical education, the implementation of innovative projects, and the expansion of international partnerships.
The document was signed by the Rector of Lviv Polytechnic Nataliia Shakhovska, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Iryna Yaremchuk, Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Electronic Engineering Leonid Ozirkovsky, Acting Rector of Kharkiv Aviation Institute Oleksii Lytvynov and Vice-Rector for International Relations Mikail Garayev.
The memorandum provides for the implementation of joint research initiatives, mobility of students and postgraduates, development and implementation of new educational standards, exchange of materials, as well as assessment of promising projects in the field of mechanical engineering. Another key focus will be the development of joint efforts in project management.
To achieve the goals, the universities plan to hold hackathons, conferences, round tables, seminars and meetings with experts. This will contribute to the exchange of experience, new knowledge and improvement of teaching methods.
In addition, Nataliia Shakhovska was invited to visit the Kharkiv Aviation Institute to discuss further steps of cooperation and prospects for joint educational and scientific initiatives.
