The Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi met with the finalists of the educational project Startup Batiary, which is implemented by the Department of Education and Science of Lviv Regional Military Administration together with the Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University. The organizers of the event presented the results of the project’s implementation over five years and discussed its further development.
The Startup Batiary project is a free educational program for students in grades 5–11 of the Lviv region, which has been fostering a culture of youth entrepreneurship, engineering thinking, and innovative creativity for the sixth year in a row. Each year, participants explore fields that shape the economy of the future – robotics, 3D modeling, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, media literacy, interactive design, drone operation, fundamentals of game development, etc. The project has been recognized by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for its contribution to the popularization of science.
Oleh Paska, Director of the Department of Education and Science, the Tech StartUp School team and project trainers, as well as this year’s and last year’s winners of the competition took part in the event.
The project provides mentoring support for those who plan to work on their developments further. Therefore, the University’s Tech StartUp School continues to support educational initiatives that help young people express themselves, learn to work in a team and launch their own ideas.
