The Ukraine Global Faculty project is for students, postgraduates and faculty of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. Within its framework foreign professors from leading universities, top experts and entrepreneurs give online lectures to the Ukrainian audience.
On February 8, 2023, the lecture An Introduction to Qualitative Methods in Research in the United States will be held as part of the project. The speaker is Jonathan Cisco, Director of Education at Coursetune, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and founder of The Grad Academy, an academic consulting group for professors and graduate students.
In this lecture, participants will explore the basic elements of qualitative methods used in U.S. research; review the research paradigms that ground their work in qualitative methods, discuss some qualitative designs, and review some example research questions that lend them themselves to qualitative analysis.
The event starts at 17:00 Kyiv time, the duration is 90 minutes. The language of the lecture is English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.
