The Ukraine Global Faculty project is for students, postgraduates and faculty of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. Within its framework foreign professors from leading universities, top experts and entrepreneurs give online lectures to the Ukrainian audience.

On March 23, 2023, the lecture «Golden ages: What we can learn from their rise and fall» will be held as part of the project. The speaker is Johan Norberg, writer, teacher and director, senior fellow at Cato Institute, Washington, and the European Center for International Political Economy, Brussels.

From Athens and Song China to Renaissance Italy, we’ve had many eras of scientific discovery and economic growth. What is their common denominator, why did they appear, how did they end, and what can we learn from them today?

The event starts at 14:00 Kyiv time, duration – 90 minutes. The language of the lecture is English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.
