The staff of the cyclic commission of physical education of Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic College of Lviv Polytechnic National University, in close cooperation with the administration of the education institution, created decent conditions for doing sports on the basis of its own infrastructure. Due to this, for many years college students are the winners of most sports events, including all-Ukrainian and international competitions.
This 2018–2019 academic year Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic has already started with great sports achievements, in particular:
- Maksym Kiser became the European champion in hand-to-hand combat;
- Nikita Buzinskyi, having won two third places, became the winner of the World Traditional Karate Championship;
- Denys Snihur became karting champion of Ukraine for the fourth time;
- Dmytro Babych became the pankration champion of Ukraine.
