The Joint Competition Commission for awarding the prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Young Scientists as well as nominal scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists – Doctors of Sciences carried out evaluation and ranking of works for awarding the prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Young Scientists for 2019 and decided to recommend the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to award 30 Prizes of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to young scientists for 2019.
Among the winners of the competition there is Yaroslav Hnilitskyi, Assistant at the Department of Photonics, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Head of the Novinano Research Laboratory. He has been working on Laser Nanoengineering of the Surface of Functional Materials.
