On June 30, 2021, the staff of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, met with Iryna Mazur, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Philadelphia, the board member of non-profit organization Razom for Ukraine, Vice President of the Ukrainian Federation (UFA), a lawyer.

At the meeting they discussed issues of interaction, joint plans, communication with the academic community of lawyers and law students of Lviv Polytechnic. Iryna Mazur has vast experience in legal practice, work in the public sector, in the field of diplomatic activity. Her personal success story is undoubtedly interesting for the student community as an example of a combination of professional and social activities. With her active life position, achievements, and authority in the country of residence, Iryna Mazur breaks the stereotypes about the Ukrainian diaspora that still exist in our society. She forms the image of a highly intelligent emigrant who is ready to share his/her new knowledge and skills in Ukraine, and at the same time actively affirms the positive image of our country in American society.

Iryna Kliuchkovska, Oksana Piatkovska and Andrii Yatsiv took part in the conversation, handing over textbooks on the Ukrainian language as a foreign language (created by IECDR) to the Ukrainian school in Philadelphia.
