The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, by its order dated 19.11.2025 No. 1526, has determined the postgraduate students who will receive academic scholarships of the President of Ukraine in the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships are intended to support the most talented young researchers and encourage their scientific results.
This year, 65 applications were received from universities subordinate to the Ministry. The applicants were evaluated, in particular, according to the following criteria:
- publications in category A journals and in publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus;
- articles in category B publications;
- popular science materials and digital scientific content in open access (with DOI or permanent URL);
- participation in scientific projects funded by the results of national or international competitions, where the postgraduate student is the scientific supervisor;
- applications for patents (invention or utility model);
- submitted applications for funding scientific research, in which the applicant acts as the supervisor.
After reviewing the documents, the MES board recommended 29 postgraduate students who demonstrated the most significant scientific results.
Among the scholarship holders there is Oleksandr Ivanukh, postgraduate student of the Department of Chemical Technology of Plastics Processing, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
