From July 15 to August 31, librarians who listened to an online course of lectures «ILS Koha and the creation of an electronic catalog in the libraries of HEIs» had the task to catalog books in the test version of ILS Koha.
Group consultations took place every Friday on the Zoom platform. Olha Zavalii and Oksana Shubert, specialists of the Scientific and Technical Library of Lviv Polytechnic National University, analyzed bibliographic records of librarians, corrected and explained their mistakes.
In addition, librarians were able to get answers to questions that arose in the process of analysis or when they cataloged books themselves.
In the next stage, the library staff will catalog and register publications from their own funds not in the test, but in the working versions of ILS Koha of each library.
