Greetings of Lviv Polytechnic Rector on the Constitution Day of Ukraine

RECTOR OF LVIV POLYTECHNIC
Заставка до матеріалу

Dear Polytechnicians!

For more than ten years now, the Constitution Day of Ukraine has been of much deeper significance to us than just a public holiday. During the ten-year war and almost three years of particularly ruthless enemy aggression, we are acutely aware of the importance of our right to have a sovereign, independent, democratic, social and legal state.

«No one will build a state for us if we do not build it ourselves, and none of us will make a nation if we do not want to be a nation ourselves» – these words of the famous political and public figure Viacheslav Lypynskyi, said at the beginning of the last century, are still relevant to our present.

So let us be united in our struggle and desire not only to preserve but also to develop our country. Let us become ambassadors of our country in the world, regardless of our place of residence, occupation or ideological positions, showing by our actions our great love and respect for the heroism of our soldiers who continue to resist the enemy in inhuman conditions.

I wish you victory and cohesion, moral endurance and strength so that we, our children and grandchildren have the right to be called Ukrainians on our God-given land!

Yurii Bobalo,

Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University
