Green School within the project «E-marketing» Jean Monnet Modules Erasmus+

On May 24–26, 2023, «Green School» was held by teachers of Marketing and Logistics Department assoc. prof. Taisia Nakonechna and assoc. prof. Nataliia Mashchak at the Lviv City Council «Malyuk» elementary school with a preschool department.

On May 24, assoc. prof. Taisia Nakonechna and assoc. prof. Nataliia Mashchak conducted the «Green Class», the purpose of which was to form pupil’s environmental awareness, develop ecological culture skills, activate their participation in community work together with parents, practice caring for the environment, and popularize EU environmental knowledge and practices. During the class, children were involved in research activities, critical thinking and creativity development, skills to work in a team formation and express opinions.

On May 25, assoc. prof. Nataliia Mashchak conducted a team quest « Environment Guardians» in the fresh air, which consisted of 8 stations, at each pupils performed various tasks on environmental topics and received points. Assoc. prof. Taisia Nakonechna conducted a didactic game «Ecobattle» to raise children’s awareness of the rational resources use.

On May 26, assoc. prof. Nataliia Mashchak conducted a didactic game on the development of sorting waste habit «Eco-memo». Assoc. prof. Taisia Nakonechna organized a drawing competition on the theme: «Ecological monsters», which were presented by teams. The event ended with summing up the «Green School» results, awarding the teams and presenting certificates and prizes.

The project team members Taisia Nakonechna and Nataliia Mashchak express their gratitude to all participants of the event and to the management and teachers of the Lviv City Council «Malyuk» elementary school with a preschool department.

This event was held within the framework of the project «Dissemination of EU practices through e-marketing, conscious consumption, circular economy, resource efficiency» («E-marketing of conscious consuming») of the EU Erasmus+ program directed by Jean Monnet.

Erasmus+ is a program of international cooperation between the European Union with other countries in the world in the field of education, youth and sports, which aims to support educational, professional and personal development , for the development of innovation and strengthening of European identity and active citizenship. The program supports the possibilities of educational and academic mobility in education and for youth, projects and partnerships and development of strategies and cooperation.
