The European Commission held a large-scale event dedicated to the main missions and objectives of the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation framework programme. The event marked the end of a lengthy negotiation process on the programme budget and the beginning of preparations for its official launch.
To ensure the effective and active involvement of Ukrainian scientists in setting priorities, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine proposes to join the joint discussions and work in the following areas:
- to form a list of topical issues related to participation in the Horizon Europe Programme, which are of interest to potential participants in future competitions;
- to analyze the main support tools of the Horizon Europe Programme and its complementary programs in terms of the opportunities they open to Ukrainian participants;
- to identify stakeholders who plan to participate in partnerships under the Horizon Europe Programme;
- to form proposals to the European Commission in the framework of work on strategic documents in various areas;
- to create a database on representatives and experts responsible for monitoring of the programme implementation, who may be elected to the Horizon Europe programme committees;
- to provide information and consulting services to promote the Horizon Europe Programme in Ukraine;
- to receive and provide consulting services on the formation of tender documentation; participation in information activities of the European Commission on the peculiarities of the Horizon Europe Programme.
To join the discussions in these areas, you must complete the questionnaire until February 26, 2021.
To receive information or take part in events scheduled for the first half of March 2021 you have to fill out a questionnaire until February 18.
