A seminar was held for Directors of the Institutes, during which they were told about the peculiarities of information systems and services of Lviv Polytechnic.
– To improve the organization of the University Departments, the Polytechnic Center of Information Support has created many systems and services. The seminar was aimed at acquainting the Directors of the Institutes with a wide range of opportunities for the formation of the teachers load, calculating the number of hours, the implementation of moral motivation of employees, organizing paperwork within the Institute and much more. In addition to practical benefits, information systems make it possible to achieve one of the goals of the University Development Strategy – to create an environment conducive to the work and development of each employee of our University, – said Liliia Zhuk, Vice-Rector for Education and Strategic Development.
Oksana Peleshchyshyn, the Head of the Center of Information Support, Lviv Polytechnic, told the directors in detail about the peculiarities of information systems.
– The work of information systems requires a lot of time and a lot of resources, including human resources. But within the organization, it helps to streamline and optimize all processes. It is also an opportunity to share information transparently, and to control the processes that take place. The information systems at the University have been extensively updated for a long time, all Departments are involved, so there will be even more opportunities, – added Oksana Peleshchyshyn.
