In collaboration with the Biarritz Partnership

The Center for Legal Research on Gender Equality has been operating at the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, since August 30, 2021. The impetus for its creation was the fact that on September 11, 2020 Ukraine joined the Biarritz Partnership (International Initiative for Equal Rights and Opportunities for All) in five areas: development of barrier-free public space, friendly to families with children and less mobile groups; teaching children the principles of equality between women and men; prevention of violence; reducing the pay gap between women and men; creating greater opportunities for men to care for children.

The main goal of the Center is to form a gender-sensitive youth space, which will serve as a platform for generating ideas of motivated youth. However, all the activities of the Center are set out in the Regulation on the Work of the Center for Legal Research on Gender Equality, which was approved by the IJPS Academic Board. It is important to emphasize that we operate through the prism of the legal profession. Today, the Center unites more than a hundred members.
