On 7 November 2025, as part of the Jean Monnet project module ‘Global Responsible Leadership of the EU: Climate Change, Environmental Protection and Humanitarian Aid’ ‘EU_LEAD’, Oleg Tsebenko, PhD in Political Science, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Lviv Polytechnic National University, gave a lecture on ‘The EU as a Global Leader’ for students and teachers of the Department of International Relations and Audit at Dnipro Polytechnic National University.
During the lecture, the multifaceted potential of the EU was revealed, various dimensions of the European Union’s power were analysed, and the peculiarities of the implementation of the EU’s foreign policy were highlighted. Particular attention was paid to the internal and external challenges facing the EU. Students highly appreciated the logical and informative nature of the material presented, which allowed them to clearly structure complex geopolitical processes.
The opportunity to communicate directly with the lecturer and ask all their questions was particularly valuable. The lecturer willingly answered questions, encouraging critical thinking and active discussion about the future of Europe and Ukraine. The lecture was attended by 38 participants.
