For two weeks, Lviv Polytechnicians had the opportunity to take a survey, the results of which would help to understand the most critical points in the context of signing and receiving documents at our University. This survey is the first step in the digitalization of the University’s document flow in terms of signing and receiving electronic documents. At the same time, innovation, which leads to the achievement of one of the strategic goals – creating an environment favorable for learning, work and personal development, is very important.

A Polytechnic team is implementing this project within the framework of the Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention (LUTUR) program.

Almost 72% of employees and more than 28% of students, postgraduate students, and doctoral students participated in the anonymous survey.

Almost 97% of scientific and pedagogical workers and the same number of students who took the survey, 100% of teaching and support staff of the Departments, and employees of management and other structural units expressed their support for the improvement of electronic document flow, in particular for filling in information on student records, as well as ordering documents through the employee’s e-cabinet.

More than 93% of the respondents spoke in favor of using documents in an electronic version with an electronic digital signature and independent printing from the e-cabinet.

Therefore, based on the results of this survey, the team of Polytechnicians, who are undergoing training within the framework of the LUTUR program, and the involved specialists, are developing steps to implement the project to improve the e-document management system at Lviv Polytechnic.

Let us remind you that the Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention (LUTUR) program is implemented by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science and Sports.
