On 24 October 2024, the project team of «Providing of Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization» (AFID) held a nationwide promotional event dedicated to the Virtual Inclusive Campus (VIC). At this meeting, project implementers presented courses that will be offered to students at the VIC using modern digital tools.
It is worth noting that the target audience of the campus is students with diverse abilities and needs, as well as students and adults seeking to develop professional competencies. During the meeting, the lecturers spoke about the idea of the courses, their structure, content and learning outcomes. At the same time, the developers of the courses outlined the highlights of each of the proposed courses and drew the attention of the participants to their applied nature.
More than 150 participants attended the event, and more than 50 of them were from Lviv Polytechnic National University. During the meeting, the lecturers had the opportunity to share their experience of teaching courses using digital inclusive tools and answer questions from potential students – VIC participants. Finally, the participants were shown the procedures for enrolling in VIC courses.
At this stage of the AFID project implementation, VIC courses are open for registration to students from those higher education institutions that are implementing the project, including Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics and National TU Dnipro Polytechnic.
Lviv Polytechnic was represented by professors Ihor Oleksiv, Viktoriia Kharchuk and Roman Shulyar and Associate Professor Halyna Lema, the Department of Management and International Business, the Institute of Economics and Management.
