On May 24, 2023, Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, signed decree No. 372/0/5–23BA which determined the laureates of the regional award for scientists.
This year, 306 applications from 26 institutions of higher education and scientific institutions of the Lviv region were considered by the competition commission for the selection of award winners.
Among the leaders there are:
- Lviv Polytechnic National University – 107 applications,
- Ivan Franko National University of Lviv – 42 applications,
- Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – 25 applications,
- Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University – 24 applications,
- Institute for Condensed Matter Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – 15 applications.
In 2023, Lviv Regional Military Administration awarded 171 scientists from scientific institutions and higher education institutions, including 69 scientists from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
26 Polytechnicians received the prize of 21,000 hryvnias.
