The aim of the project is сreation of a modern gamification module for learning, simulations and digital storytelling for VET and a Modul Entrepreneurial mindset in VET.
Project goals:
- to substantially change the way in which VET is practiced via the development and implementation of new and more relevant teaching and learning approaches;
- to provide or link with local business incubators for VET learners to develop their entrepreneurship initiatives and attitudes that respond to real world challenges.
Specific objectives:
- create a Learning, Playing, Working as Dynamics for Double-Loop Learning aiming at winning, playing aims at conquering new levels of understanding, self-awareness, and self-efficacy in terms of VET;
- get students involved, engaged and excited about learning by introducing a system of rewards without harsh penalties for students who are not afraid to step outside of their comfort zone and fail- subconsciously encouraging them to learn;
- generate a stronger entrepreneurship education which is needed to equip unemployed with the skills to create commercial opportunities for themselves-and to contribute to the growth of larger, more sustainable businesses.
- reinforce entrepreneurial education in schools, vocational education institutions & universities to cause a positive impact on the entrepreneurial dynamism of our economies (ref. Entrepreneurship Education from EU Commission).
Expected results:
- «Gamification of learning, simulations & digital storytelling» Module – to make learning in VET to get VET learners involved, engaged and excited about learning like 1) Digital Storytelling which is the art of combining storytelling with a mixture of digital graphics, text, recorder audio narration, video and music to communicate information about a specific theme or topic and 2) Simulation which will immerse the learners in a realistic conversation and environment – by introducing a system of rewards without harsh penalties for students who are not afraid to step outside of their comfort zone and fail- subconsciously encouraging them to learn.
- «A more effective, efficient and sustainable entrepreneurial mindset in VET» Module –to reinforce entrepreneurial education at VET to impact on the entrepreneurial dynamism of our economies and to contribute to the growth of larger, more sustainable businesses with an Iterative design approach used by incrementally developing and refining the module production based on prototyping, testing, analysing, receiving feedbacks and evaluation in iterative way - it is going to be introduced by means of a Wiki, learning built on past, evolution from trials and error process and with some researches all over Europe coming from the Good Practice research and further in-depth analysed and discussed during project meeting
The modules will be interactive describing the methodology, explaining in detail how to implement it in VET sector, introducing tips and providing a suggested quality management system and they are going to be adapted with multimedia like our smart phone application and large Web links section for in-depth analysis needs.
