Every two years, the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, invites you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Ukrainian Language in the World». This year it will be the 7th conference.
During the Russian-Ukrainian war, the language issue continues to be one of the key issues. We defend not only territorial borders, but also our culture, language, and values.
- What is the place of the Ukrainian language today in the world and in Ukraine?
- Will the demand for the Ukrainian language increase after Ukraine’s victory in the Russian-Ukrainian war?
- How to spread the Ukrainian language in Ukraine and in the world?
- What are the best methods for teaching the Ukrainian language in foreign-language classrooms?
- How to work with forced migrants?
This is a list of the issues we will discuss.
With the participation of famous researchers and public activists a panel discussion on the topic «Ukrainian as a world language: a real perspective or a fantasy?» will be held within the framework of the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Ukrainian Language in the World». Also, all participants are invited to join the work in «world cafes».
The event will take place on November 4, 2022 in the Assembly Hall of the main building of Lviv Polytechnic. Beginning at 10:00.
We invite researchers, academics and teachers, public activists, journalists and everyone willing to participate in the event. To do this, you need to register till October 23.
