On the International Student’s Day, Lviv Polytechnic National University will hold the meeting of the academic community with Oksana Markarova. It will be a chance to talk to a person who, through her own efforts, hard work, intelligence and perseverance, made a brilliant career and now represents Ukraine in the USA – a country that is one of the most important strategic partners of Ukraine in the conditions of war.
The event will take place on November 17, 2022 in the Assembly Hall of the Lviv Polytechnic main building. Due to the latest technologies that eliminate all barriers in communication, the event participants across the ocean will have the opportunity to discuss the intricacies of the diplomatic work of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA, the peculiarities of communication with authorities, business and educational structures in wartime conditions.
During the meeting, attendees will also learn:
- Does US polarization affect our country’s support in the war?
- What should Ukraine do to convince the Americans that helping Ukraine with weapons and finances is in their interests?
They will also talk about the role of the Ukrainian diaspora in the military and financial support of Ukraine in the USA. The free format of the conversation will allow not only to listen to the successful Ambassador, but also to ask questions.
