The team of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University» (EUSTS) is organizing a regional business webinar «Approaching EU standards and opportunities for Ukrainian business: the experience of the Western region», which will take place on October 13, 2023 in the main building of the University.
The webinar will be held in three sections:
- Lviv region is a leader in the implementation of European integration reforms;
- Consequences of the implementation of the European Green Deal for Ukrainian business in the Western region;
- Achieving climate change and environmental sustainability in the western regions of Ukraine within the framework of cross-border formats of cooperation and Euro regions.
Representatives of government, business and the academic community will take part in the webinar. Among the key speakers of the event there are:
- Vadym Tabakera, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Policy, Head of the Development Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration;
- Orest Kiyko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Technology of Furniture and Wooden Products, the Ukrainian National Forestry University;
- Serhii Pylypiv, founder of the Grafix company, chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee of Rotary International D2223;
- Nataliia Kruta, Deputy Head of the Basin Management of Water Resources of the Western Bug and Syan Rivers.
The event will be held in a hybrid format. Participation in the webinar is due to prior registration.
The EUSTS project team invites students and teachers, as well as everyone interested in the European integration of Ukraine, to participate in the event.
The webinar is organized with the support of the Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet, as part of the implementation of the project «European studies for technical specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University». Beginning at 12:00.
